In The Name Of

He who is far beyond our understanding
Has been plucked from eternity to stand contrite
            Soldier, stand tall!
Worn as a gas mask as we wage war
In the name of

He who dwells within us
Has been stripped of his garments
So that we may cover the mouths of those who oppose
            Our way, or no way!
Wrapped tightly, neatly and quietly
In the name of

He whose grace is an ocean to our soul
Has been launched into the crowd of spectators
A grenade for our protection
            Duck and cover!
Don’t get caught in the middle lest you perish
In the name of

He whose love envelops our wounds
Has been made a servant to man
Choosing sides in war, allowing bloodshed
            Learn your lesson!
In the name of
