The deck of cards fell one by one then in multitudes falling with such force they exploded as they touched the wooden floor in multitudes they fell endlessly telling a future that breaks the silence the deck grew at every plunge of the old replacing themselves afraid to be forgotten and finally the ace of spades and nothing short of what could be foretold of a deck that had fallen one by one then in multitudes and with such force they could never again regain the meaning for which they were intended
