La Panaderia: A Pastry Tale

This is one page from the draft of a graphic children's novel that I'm creating as a final project for a nonfiction workshop I had this semester. 

My grandparents would always make fun of nuns even though we were devout Catholics.  My grandmother would call a certain pastry a nun fart and I never knew otherwise.  This is a story of that experience.
